Enter the Lion (ETL) is a Christ centered nonprofit dedicated to equipping and empowering first responders and military personnel. Since 2020, they have served warriors from across the United States and Canada through a dedicated team of current and former first responders and veterans. ETL fulfills its mission through in-person retreats, mentorship, Bible studies, and an active online community, creating experiences that bring freedom, hope, and lifelong friendships to those who serve.

In collaboration with WayMakerz Ministries Inc, we’ve united spiritual discipleship with pastoral Christian counseling and healing. Together, we’re creating holistic pathways for first responders to experience deep restoration through the Abide Retreats and ongoing aftercare.

A Place to Breathe Again

Every day, first responders run toward what others flee while carrying the weight of chaos, tragedy, and trauma. For many, that burden becomes silent and suffocating. The uniform remains crisp, but the heart grows weary.

Abide was born from a simple, sacred truth: healing happens when we stop running and begin abiding. This retreat is a refuge for those who serve—a place to rediscover who you are in Christ, to experience rest that restores body and soul, and to reconnect with the One who holds your story together.

Retreat environments are intentionally set apart for worship, fellowship, and rest that is often in the quiet beauty of the mountains so you can withdraw and meet Jesus in stillness while forging community with others who understand the job.

What to Expect: The Abide Experience

A 4-day journey toward wholeness. Hosted in a peaceful retreat setting, Abide invites you into a rhythm of stillness, reflection, and renewal—centered on Christ and designed with first responders in mind.

Christ-centered teaching and worship led by leaders who understand the first responder life.
Safe spaces for honest conversation, prayer, and rest.
Guided sessions on spiritual identity, resilience, and grace.
Moments of silence, recreation, and reconnection with creation.
Personalized pastoral care and trauma-informed wellness support during the retreat.

Abide isn’t just a weekend away—it’s the beginning of restoration. Longer format retreats are planned as the mission grows.

PTSD Healing & Aftercare

Restoration of mind, body, and spirit. Abide brings together faith-based leaders and trauma recovery professionals who share one mission: to see first responders healed and made whole.

During the retreat, participants can receive individual Christian counseling and Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) wellness therapy. An evidence-informed, low-microcurrent approach used by trained providers to support stress recovery, sleep, and relief connected to trauma-related symptoms.

After the retreat, the care continues through hybrid aftercare, virtual or in-person sessions when local. Aftercare combines counseling, discipleship, and FSM to reinforce lasting transformation.
